COS wants you!

Come and be a part of our next production- our spring/summer concert 2016.

The concert will take place at the Headgate Theatre in June, with performances from Wednesday 8th-Saturday 11th (technical and dress rehearsals on Mon 6th and Tues 7th).  It is being directed by Joanna Daniels with musical direction from Graham Keeble.  The working title is currently “Music, mirror and the chance to dance” but this may change.  Come and meet them and see what they have in store this year at our first introduction rehearsal on Monday 22nd Feb 2016 at Prettygate Junior school 7.30pm.  Auditions will be on 29th February (more details will be given at the first rehearsal).  Non-members are welcome to come along to this first rehearsal where you can also meet members of our committee and sign up for membership on the night.  You have to be a member to audition.  This year sees a dramatic reduction in membership fees, costing only £10 for the year, which includes access to the members area of the website, a chance to audition and take part in our productions, opportunities to join in our social events throughout the year and quarterly social newsletters.  Click on this link for more information on becoming a member.  Our show fees have increased to compensate for the lower membership fee, but for longstanding members this will mean the overall cost to you if taking part in a show/concert will be the same as previous years.  The concert show fee will be £30 payable if successful on audition.  Rehearsals generally take place on Mondays and Thursdays, and occasionally Sundays.
