Want to get your tickets for the upcoming CO2 production of Legally Blonde?
The wait is now over!
From Wednesday 17th June tickets are available from The Mercury Theatre
“Award-winning CO2 are proud to present (with special arrangement by Josef Weinberger) the amateur regional premier of Legally Blonde.
Based on the hit MGM film, the show follows the journey of Sorority President Elle Woods, who after being dumped by her boyfriend, Warner, decides to follow him to Harvard Law School determined to win him back. However she soon discovers it’s a whole new world than the one she has been used to.
With help from new friends Emmett and Paulette, plus a little help from her ‘Greek Chorus’ Elle learns how to defy expectations and remain true to herself. With music and lyrics by Laurence O’ Keffe and book by Heather Hach the score includes infectious songs such as Omigod you Guys, Chip on my Shoulder,Whipped into Shape, So Much Better and Bend and Snap, this will be a show you won’t want to miss.”
Come Fly with me: COS concert 2015
We had a small cast of 15:
Fiona Bocking, Katie Cutmore, Caroline Fritz, Gabby Fusi, Hayley Gladwell, Rikki Hammond, Claire Jones, Peter Jones, Katie Leech, Sarah Miles, Amanda Powell, Angela Rankin, Colin Thorne, Sarah White and Russell Windsor.
“Come Fly With Me” was a concert with an around the world theme taking audiences on a plane journey facilitated by our Captain and Crew (voiced by Michael Cutmore).
It received a great review from NODA, despite some technical hitches on the matinee performance they attended, and many lovely comments from audience members (some of which came back for a second viewing!).
Some comments posted to our Facebook group included…
“Great concert. Clever and creative and great variety of music.”
“Great concert tonight guys. Good concept, great music choice and variety and I really enjoyed it. Congratulations xx”
“Congratulations on a great concert. It was an intimate and quality performance with a fabulous choice of songs. I loved it. Go and see this gem of a show!”
“Well done to everyone involved in “Come fly with me”. Lovely show last night. Great entertainment!”
Well done to everyone involved including our backstage and sound/light technicians too and especially the lady who pulled it all together so beautifully, Gabby Fusi!

2015 NODA awards
We are delighted to announce that CO2 won BEST MUSICAL in district 11 for their recent production of Grease at the latest NODA awards.
Congratulations to everyone involved with this production.
A well deserved triumph, especially as CO2 are no longer eligible for the youth category and therefore compete with all other main societies in the same district.
