Have you ever wondered what we get up to behind the scenes during show weeks?
Whilst the show is hard work we have our fair share of fun and cast and crew really get along as a team-so much so, we miss each other terribly once it’s all over! Our recent production of Sister Act was a particularly great show to be a part of, since the story of sisters bonding through music, adversity and love played out backstage in the cast and crew. We had death, illness, malfunctioning equipment, a large cast combined with limited stage space and costume malfunctions (primarily our heart drop down flaps) to deal with but we all pulled together for our love of musical theatre and grew closer with every show. Our last performance brought most of us to tears, especially when we had a standing ovation from the audience!
