MESSAGE FROM OUR CHAIRMAN

I would like to thank all those that audition for this production and those that gave their time and effort to facilitate the smooth running etc.

We could have included many more people in the cast but numbers were limited and the audition panel had the unenviable task of trying to choose a balanced and complementary company for this production.

I fully understand that many people will be disappointed this time but please do not give up trying and should anyone drop out during the first few weeks of rehearsal we will of course contact some of the people that were initially unsuccessful. Please also remember that for nearly every person on the stage there is a person back stage who are crucial in getting the show up to performance standard and running the production. If any of you feel you would like to be involved then please let us know and you will be very welcome to give a hand. You are all members of Colchester Operatic Society and that membership isn’t all about performing on the stage.

Thank you once again to everyone involved today with a special thanks due to Colin & Liz Thorne who spent two days compiling and arranging the audition running order so that the day could go as smoothly as possible.

Tickets are now on sale at the Mercury Theatre Box Office and at time of writing, we have already sold 15% of the run.

Now the hard work begins!
